Passion, inspiration, entrepreneurial vision is the heart of this book. The author and founding father's dream was to create and build the Bands of America National Organization. Which after 35 successful years of producing National Championship competitions, workshops, and festivals has become the focal point for inspiring millions of high school music students to reach for excellence, not only in music, but in their total life pursuit.

The stories will touch anyone who has ever felt the "goose bumps" from hearing a fine marching band and seeing the American Flag. This beautifully hard bound 240 page book is filled with wonderful color images. They highlight a true visionary who desired to create extraordinary events to spotlight and recognize excellence in young people who are drawn to music.
